As is his norm, appointing, reappointment and dropping leaders in various positions - President Museveni once again did the same as he released new lists of newly his newly appointed advisors in various categories.
On there, the Commander in Chief retained his son Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugana as Senior Presidential Advisor on Special operations and his brother Gen. Salim Saleh as Senior Presidential Advisor on Defense.
Notable to note on the list too is a promotion of his fellow Bush war veteran Al Hajji Abdul Nadduli to Senior Presidential Advisor on Political Mobilization.
In his new role, Nadduli will have terms and benefits like thiecof a cabinet minister! Could this be a compensation? In the recent past, the former minister without portfolio had been criticizing the NRM ruling government which he cautioned on clearing up its recurring mess!
Nadduli's appointment comes with alot of controversy from the public domain with many claiming that the president wanted to silence him but also compensate him for the many unfortunate happenings in his family after loosing his son Jakana Nadduli under unclear circumstances aswell as other close family members.
The president also brought back his former Minister in the Education Minister, Geraldine Namirembe Bitamazire who will advise him on Education matters.
Other appointments in the same regard include ;
