With the continued mysterious disappearing and dying of people in Uganda lately, one really has to watch whatever they say and do plus watch people they talk with.
Sam Okanya, a comedian off the Mighty family duo, recently got lost for a couple of days and rumor started passing that he had been arrested (kidnapped) over a viral video he released condemning the hash ruling done by president Museveni and his regime.
Okanya later surfaced about two days ago looking terrible, his hair cut off in a very bad way, looking like he had been beaten to pulp. He also apologized for whatever he said against president Museveni and swore never to say such statements again.
Kampala Metropolitan Police, through its spokesman Patrick Onyango said that Okanya was never kidnapped by the police as the latter alleged but rather kidnapped himself for reasons best known to him. Onyango farther warned Okanya not to mix politics with comedy.
