3 out of 5 Ugandans yesterday before the president's address were sure the country was going in another lockdown. Infact, a number of Ugandans were spotted lining up at bus stages to flee the city incase of another "21 days."
However, when the long awaited address began at around 8:17pm, the address brought smiles on many Ugandans who were following. The president in his speech reminded Ugandans that they have delibarately stopped following S.O.Ps.
He also warned people who're in villages not to travel to urban areas unless it's a MUST. According to his results he showed the nation, the highly infested areas are Kampala, Wakiso and Mukono.
The president is expected to make another address towards the end of this week after a meeting he's to have with the national covid-19 task force on Wednesday where more discussions and agreements are to be reached.
Was the president indirectly giving people time to relocate for the forthcoming lockdown? Was he just telling us to revise our ways around the vaccine? Let's wait and see. Please wash your hands, wear a mask and keep social distance.
