Since the beginning of this week, Ugandans have been on tenterhooks over widespread rumor about a second total lockdown due to the drastic increase in the covid-19 figures lately.
This forced the health workers to request the president to enforce another lockdown if the citizens don't revise their behavior in regards to observing SOPs.
However, during his address on Saturday 29th/May, the president promised the nation that he would return on Wednesday 2nd/June and which was yesterday to give a final verdict, after thorough consultation with the taskforce.
The awaited address didn't happen, but through his social media platforms, the president informed Ugandans he would address them on Sunday, 6th/June after finalizing with the taskforce.
