Today, all the officers employed by the Uganda Prisons went through a compulsory vaccination for the Corona virus.
The prisons were listed on the people of importance who needed to have the vaccine taken.
During the Corona period last year, the Uganda Prisons were among the most affected areas with some of it's members getting sick (prisoners and workers).
A book containing names of the employees was available.
A name would be read and you would go forward and get the vaccine.
This procedure was carried out by the heads of the numerous prisons and their nurses plus a team from the ministry of health.
There have been so many questions about this vaccine as so many countries in Europe banned it because it was causing blood clots.
However, some countries in East Asia have reported positive remarks saying the vaccine is reducing the symptoms and killing almost 60% of the virus.
