    in summary
Producer D'Mario says this is not his first rodeo as many upcoming artistes have tried to destroy his reputation in such a manner.

At the end of last month, an upcoming artist who was identified as Wire Wire Bwongo, came out and cried to the public while demanding for justice against local music producer D’Mario, saying he was mistreated by the producer.

Wire wire stated that D’Mario had not only stolen an amount of money from him in the guise of making him a song beat but he had also thumped him senseless when he tried to demand for his money back. According to wire wire, he was harshly thumped by the Producer after he came to him demanding for the money he had taken to produce his song yet he never gave him the song.

Wire wire  stated that he was barely able to survive D’Mario as he was left with broken teeth and a swollen lip, all for his own hard earned money! Wire Wire  narrated that he reached out to D’Mario, a producer, to record a song at his studio to which he paid him a deposit of Ugx 230,000 from the agreed total cost of Ugx 300,000. The balance was to be paid after the song was fully done.

Wire wire said he made various trips not only to the producer's studio but to his residence as well in a bid to either get his song or a refund. According to him, he only got a dose of violence and a touch of threats, warning him to keep silent about the entire situation and refrain from seeking help from the media.

Producer D’Mario has now come out to defend himself. According to the producer, he only charges Ugx 1m and above for each song he produces at his Legendary Production studio and that the Ugx230,000 Wire wire claimed to have given him was just an initial deposit. He mentioned that he could not give Wire wire the song before receiving the full pay for it.

He however has denied assaulting Wire Wire  and claimed that this is just an upcoming artiste trying to seek for attention from the media. According to the Producer, upcoming artists are always coming up with such stunts to gain cheap fame which is entirely uncalled for.

According to him, the song in discussion was even a collabo but he fact that only one person has come out to claim for money is quite suspicious. D’Mario further noted that he told both the gentlemen to clear their misunderstandings and raise the money to pay him off but they started a scuffle, to which he instructed them to leave his place. The next day, he woke up to videos of Wire wire circulating and claiming he was a victim of assault.

I don’t know why upcoming artists think that stunts are the way to make them famous. It is wrong. This is not the first case of the nature against me, they do that a lot. He needs to focus more on creating good music that these stunts, that’s how the big artists have made it.” He stated
