Events promoter Abitex Promotions has come out and made a very shocking announcement regarding the upcoming “Enkuuka Y’omwaka” event, which he seems to be spearheading when it comes to organization. The event was officially launched at Bulange Mengo and revelers seemingly can to wait to partake of the fun.
According to the organizers, this event is bound to be a night filled with exhilarating performances by some of Uganda’s most talented artists. However, Abitex came out and announced that he made the decision to exclude two prominent singers, Alien Skin and Ronald Mayinja.
According to Abitex, the two musicians have been highly undisciplined and he therefore wishes not to get entangled in their misconduct. The “Enkuuka Y’omwaka” event is scheduled to take place on December 31st at Lubiri in Mengo.
However much Abitex had earlier on included the two banned musicians on his list of performers, he seems to have changed his mind in a very short while. In his defense, he mentioned that they have lost the favor of many revelers because they are undisciplined.
Abitex also mentioned that he would rather do away with them because he is sure that they are going to try and pull off silly stunts at such a prestigious event and he is ot ready to face that shame. According to him, such stunts are not needed at such a function because they would display a lack of respect towards the Kabaka of Buganda, who will be in attendance
