It seems Rebecca Kadaga will be in the news in the next few coming days as she keeps on fighting to keep her position in parliament.
Today in a tweet, she has urged government to review all these curfew measures.
She believes the strict curfew that ends at 9 pm is affecting the economy.
Many businesses that worked in the night such as bars, hotels and restaurants do not make money as they have to close down due to curfew.
Some business permanently closed due to lack of finances to keep them running.
All these businesses contributed to the economy in form of taxes.
A friend to the state house Balaam had said that bars and concerts would soon be opened this year.
The speaker also pointed out that some tourists enter the country past 9pm and are stuck at the airport until morning because taxis to transport them are not available.
Further more, Entebbe road has so many road blocks (at Kajjansi, Zzana and Kibuye round about) where you have to pay some money to those officers to pass.
This has become a big burden on tourists who have decided not to travel to Uganda since some flights such as Ethiopian airlines land mostly in the late night.
The executive is yet to reply to this suggestion.
