Four days ago, The National Unity Platform president Robert Kyagulanyi called about Ugandans to peacefully demonstrate and demand for DR forms that had results for the election held on January 14th 2021.
He says that according to the forms he has, he won the seat for president of Uganda.
He made this declaration on his social media pages and the next day, army and police was deployed in major towns and cities.
Business went on as usual and no one was seen walking.
His own MPs were seen making funny dramatic posts but did nothing like peacefully demonstrating.
Some Ugandans on social media have come out to criticize him and compare him to former opposition candidates like Dr. Kizza Besigye.
"Kizza Besigye would walk the talk. But H.E talks about peacefully demonstrating as he stays at home with his wife. Who is going to die on his behalf?"
That was one of the posts written.
Another user wrote " Dr. Kizza Besigye talked of the walk to work and was the first on the street. Your president declares a peaceful demonstration and stays in bed with his wife."
Although the man himself has not responded, his die hard fans have come out to defend him and some have said the police blocked him and that is why he was not able to walk the talk.
