It has so far been nine months since schools were closed due to the corona virus outbreak.
Schools were only opened for candidates on 9th October 2020 and non candidates are still home.
According to the reports from the ministry of children, over 7000 girls were defiled and are now pregnant.
Majority of these girls have since been married off and some have new priorities which don't include education.
Furthermore, basing on the same report, most children are now working and being used for child labour.
It is estimated that there is now currently a 60% drop out rate, which has increased from 40% in the previous years.
