This year's Kampala Innovation Week promises to be a thrilling experience given the big names headlining panelists.
The 4th edition which is slated to happen from 26th November to 28th November promises to be a virtual innovative experience with an impressive roaster of speakers and panelists who will participate in the numerous sessions scheduled for 3 days.
Holic Pads Director & musician, Sheebah Karungi has been revealed as one of the panelists that will feature on the Talent Africa: Creative Innovation panel that will discuss, “Entertainment as medium for introducing new technologies by Startups: A Ugandan perspective”.
The entertainment industry has generally been the most immediate route of introducing new technologies to consumers. Especially in the area of home entertainment, content consumption has been transformed from relying on stationary media, such as home theatre and gaming console/PC to becoming mobile.
These technological advancements are rooted in business and scientific innovations that have been adapted for creative markets and this particular panel features prolific and enterprising personalities in the Ugandan entertainment/creative sector.
Aly Allibhai the CEO Talent Africa Group, Daniel “Navio” Lubwama CEO Na corp & Icon Studios and Louis Lwanga, Head of Entertainment, Sports and Media Law, Katende, Ssempebwa & Co Advocates were also unveiled as panelists. TV presenter Douglas Lwanga the brains behind Purple party and Alex Muhangi director Comedy Store are also part of the panelists.
