Singer Nince Henry cries out to the public, says he is too broke to afford a meal
    • February 13, 2023 • 2 years ago

Ugandan musician and song writer, Nince Henry, drove netizens crazy after he cried out to the public to help him get out of his serious financial challenges, saying he can no longer afford even a single meal for himself. He mentioned that the past few weeks have been hell on him and even when he has kept on struggling to make things  work, he has failed with every approach he has tried.

“The last two weeks have been so tough for me. I have struggled to make things work from all angles but life has failed due to financial stress.” He posted on his socials.

Nince,  rose to fame in the music industry after writing successful songs for Uganda’s big musicians including Bebe Cool, Juliana Kanyomozi and Iryn Namubiru. It was very hard for netizens to believe he would ever go through such a phase in his life hence they received the news with doubt and mixed reactions.

According to Nince Henry, he mentioned that he had even tried calling his fellow musicians in a bid to seek for help but they kept shunning him away most of the time and they refused to pick or return his calls. He mentioned that because of this bad condition, he has decided to sell his car so as to get some money to survive on

“I tired to call my fellow artistes but none of them are even picking my calls. I am selling my car in order to be able to feed myself! kindly call +256 700 958 648 and we talk!” He posted.

    Nince Henry

Nince’s fans have expressed concern about his appalling financial condition. On Twitter, very many of his fans rose their voices, mentioning that it is not fair for a man like Nince Henry who has written various songs for top musicians to suffer while they look on and do nothing to help.
We all recall that over the years,  Nince Henry has released some songs which have got good air play on Uganda’s radio stations. He however mentioned that all those days of glory are way past him now as he is currently very badly off. Nince said he failed to raise enough money for the production of some of his music. He mentioned that his director just forgave him and gave him the songs to release because he needed to release the songs in order to earn money

“The Director Elly Mugisha just had to forgive me and send me the video with the promise that I will pay him in future because I badly wanted to release the song. Sadly I failed to even raise the funds required to make the release for proper airplay,” he observed.

A section of fans however believes that all this is a lie and all Nince Henry may be doing is just promoting his upcoming project or something like that. They have backed this theory up with a flashback of when the musician in question came out and announced that he was soon giving up and taking his life only for him to come out and confessed that it was all a scheme to promote his song that was dubbed “Killer potion"
