It was only a month ago when the Swangz Avenue diva was involved in another on-stage war when she slapped a phone out of a man’s hands after she caught him recording her very private area. She cautioned him and told him that she was not one to be disrespected.
"When you come to see Winnie Nwagi performing, please, show some respect. I'm not the type you show contempt to. Even clients who book me know that. Don't come here to touch my thighs. “ She said.
In an interview that followed the incident, she said she was determined to teach concert goers a lesson on how to be respectful of female artists. She has always been known as one who commands respect while performing on stage.
Well, this time around, things have not gone smoothly for musician Winnie Nwagi. fled from the stage at a music show during her performance in Masindi after she was attacked with bottles onstage by revelers.
It all started when Winnie Nwagi hit a man standing close to the stage multiple times with the microphone, when he reached out and tried to touch her. As if this incident was not enough, another reveler tried his luck with her.
The ‘Fire Dancer’ singer was forced to end her performance prematurely and walk off as the crowd got agitated and started hurling bottles at her. The incident took place on Saturday, July 8th. This happened after Nwagi stopped the music and told off one of the revelers to stop touching her inappropriately.
“Sir, I didn’t come here to be touched inappropriately. Go get a prostitute and bring her on stage,” she said
Unfortunately, this is when the crowd started gearing her. Almost Immediately the bottles started flying from all over and she quickly escaped from the stage.
