Diplomats have warned that tension between Scholz and Macron could hinder the French led EU action to tackle the Houthis threat in the Red sea. The two big leaders have both conflicted on areas to di with energy subsidies, electric car importation from China and the Russia Ukraine war defence policy. The German leader warned all those E.U members that didn't send enough and the required amount of aid to Ukraine to defeat Putin's invasion and this sounded like a veil towards Macron whose Ukrainian military aid lags far behind.
Scholz also went ahead to analyse the contribution of different E.U member states towards the stoppage of the Houthis military activity in the Red sea but still went in to castigate France for not signing a peace agreement that was slated to keep the relations between the E.U and lran which runs several military groups at par and France's interest with only protecting its maritime ships and ignoring joint support and action . Macron has stressed the need to for the E.U to increase its momentum and autonomy when it comes to protecting its geopolitical power independent of Washington.
German diplomats continue to push for expansion of the French led European maritime operations which are aimed at increasing the defence barriers along the major trade routes which would in the end lead to an increase in the military action of both both the Red sea and Indian ocean with Germany willing to offer its Henvett 9 battke ship which has just returned from a NATO mission and has long range missiles systems which could reach overt 100 miles. The decision would have to involve several leaders with the E.U foreign policy chief in view of it only that the cold politics between Macron and Scholz could hinder it's progress.
