While officiating at one of the government functios in Igayaza Town council, Kakumiro district, Prime Minister Rt. Hon. Robbinah Nabbanja once again assured Ugandans that come January, the economy will fully be re-opened and all will go back to normal but warned people against the deadly Corona Virus.
"The Omicron variant spreads highly but it's not as dangerous as the rest. We don't plan on locking you. We're going to open up the country and the responsibility of keeping safe will be on you. We can't keep running after you to wear masks and vaccinate." said the Prime minister.
The country is currently in a state of both excitment and confussion, given the ever increasing cases of the Covid-19 infections yet the highly anticipated re-opening of the economy is just a day from now after the presidential address was confirmed for 31st/12/2021. Literally everyone has flu, cough or headache and while these are some of the primary signs of Omicron, the're also signs of other diseases, not forgetting the Influenza outbreak that was announced few days back.
