The prime minister and other 15 cabinet ministers don't have enough academic papers - Male Mabirizi
    • August 1, 2021 • 4 years ago

Popularly kown for undertaking 'heavy' cases that have never yielded positive results, city lawyer Male Mabirizi strikes again, this time aiming for the newly appointed prime minister and 16 other cabinet ministers. According to Mabirizi, the prime minister and the other 15 ministers don't have enough academic qualifications to enable them be in those positions.

In a letter dated 23rd/July/2021 which is addressed to the clerk of parliament, Mabirizi requests permission to access academic documents for the prime minister and othe 15 cabinet ministers. The letter quotes Aticle 31 of the constitution, which states that citizens have a right to access information in the oissession of the state or any other orhan or agency of the state.

Among the ministers whose academic documents don't render them their positions according to mabirizi include the prime minister Rt. Hon. Robbinah Nabbanja, Minister of Education and Sports Hon. Janet K. Museveni, Hin. Jeje Odongo, Hon. Kahinda Otafire, ICT minister Hon. Joyce Nabbosa Ssebugwawo among others.

In the letter, Mabirizi continues to confirm how he has credible information that the above mentioned ministers don't have enough academic qualifications and don't wualify for their respective positions. We're yet to hear from the clerk of parliament. But the ever confident lawyer seems strong. Will he be successful this time? Let's wait and see.
