Bad character records singer Mukibi Sadat, popularly known as Kalifah Aganaga was almost left nursing broken jaws after receiving a hot slap from fellow singer Fik Gaza's team.
On Wednesday evening, June 5, a nasty video made its way to the internet showing singer Kalifah Aganaga in bitter altercation with Fik Gaza's men.
By the time of compiling this article, the circumstances that led to the fight were still unclear but according to what is seen in the video, Aganaga is seen being given a lecture of sorts by Gaza Empire singer Fik Gaza.
Accompanied by members of his team, Fik Gaza seems to issue several warnings to Kalifah Aganaga, often mentioning the word “Fangone Forest” – his rival camp.
Important to note is that the altercation has come just days after a member of Alien Skin’s team was also seen in a video punching a member of Pallaso’s team while at the Nakivubo Stadium grand reopening.
Also, it should be remembered that in April, Kalifah Aganaga questioned Fik Gaza and Alien Skin’s Dacenhall credentials.
The issue of musicians’ gangs, locally known as “Egaali” (literally translated as “Bicycle”), has raised concerns among the industry players and their respective fans.
A few days ago, Alien Skin publicly condemned fellow artistes who associate with large groups of boys, commonly referred to as ‘egaali’.
Alien Skin expressed that such affiliations should not be a source of pride, noting the harmful behavior these groups often engage in.
His criticism followed recent discontent expressed by other musicians, including Feffe Bussi, who disapproved of the disruptive actions of these groups during his concert.
Alien Skin, once a pioneer of this trend of moving with a sizeable entourage, has himself faced numerous accusations of orchestrating robberies with his gang of boys.
Alien Skin however, clarified that he was unaware of the criminal activities his entourage was involved in .
"Moving with the large groups of boys is not fun anymore. I don’t even know why people think it is now a trend because it is not. All those upcoming artists who are planning to start moving with huge numbers shouldn’t even try it," Alien Skin said.
Violence seems to be taking shape yet again in the industry, something artists like Eddy Kenzo heavily condemn and have called out the responsible authorities to address.
Lydia Jazmine also came out recent and expressed her disappointment over the same issue. What is your say?
