During his covid-19 address on 6th/June/2021, the president of Uganda H.E Yoweri Kaguta Museveni suspended a number of activities and ordered new guidelines for Ugandans.
About movement and curfew, the president warned Ugandans about breaking curfew rules and hinted on availing traffic officers guns. Yes, you read that right, traffic officers to be given GUNS!
The president said normally motorcycle and car owners tend to misbehave around traffic officers. Many don't actually pullover for checking. It turns out the fountain of honor has fulfilled his promise, as some traffic officers have been spotted with guns.
Y'all road law breakers better brace yourself. It's at this point that we pose a question, do you think it's a good move to give traffic officers guns or it's a dangerous one? Talk to us in the comment section.
