Entebbe International Airport buzzed with excitement as the iconic band UB40, led by Ali Campbell, touched down in Uganda at 2:00 am. The 20-member band was warmly received by Aly Alibhai, Chief Executive Officer of Talent Africa Group, the promotion brand behind the concert along with representatives from Next Media Services, particularly NBS Television including Joel Kigozi and NBS After 5 TV show host Douglas Lwanga, who were on hand to report live on the band's arrival.
After a smooth transition through the airport, the band was whisked away to the luxurious Sheraton Hotel in Kampala, where they will be based during their stay in Kampala, Uganda. Amidst the anticipation, preparations are already underway for their much-awaited press conference scheduled to take place later in the day Friday at the Next Media Park in Naguru, Kampala.
One of the highlights of their itinerary includes a sound check at the prestigious Kololo Independence Grounds, where the band will ensure everything is set for their electrifying performance.
Meanwhile, Ugandan artists, including Rema Namakula, Bebe Cool, Vampino, Weasel, Navio, Abeeka Band, Vinka, Party Pipo, and Don Naselow, among others, have been diligently rehearsing for their opening acts, adding to the excitement surrounding the event.

Bronze tickets are priced at 100,000 UGX, while silver tickets are available for 200,000 UGX.
