Since the government allowed resumption of studies in February, things seem to be moving rather smoothly for some and others especially candidates say "babavuga sipiidi." Unlike those long holidays normally had, candidates of this year will live to curse covid-19, as theirs is going to be very short lived.
Yesterday during a press release, UNEB spokesperson Ms Jenifer Kalule announced that the marking of Primary Leaving Examination (P.L.E) and Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) had already begun.
"The marking of P.7 and S.4 exams is already underway and we hope to finalize in three weeks form now and results will be announced. I however request schools with teachers marking UNEB not to put too much restrictions on them to help smoothen the marking process." Said Jenifer Kalule.
The spokesperson also said they had arrested around 30 people who were involved in examination malpractice. These if found guilty will be sentenced to 5 years in prison, pay 5m or serve both punishments.
