Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) has today returned Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu alias Bobi Wine's bulletproof vehicle that had been taken from with claims that the car had bypassed some checks.
However, this was done after the president, H.E Yoweri Kaguta Museveni ordered the tax collecting organ to return the car. URA commissioner John Musinguzi Rujoki reaffirmed that Kyagulanyi's still has a tax debt of sh.240m.
He also added that the collective figure Kyagulanyi is meant to pay for the car will be released soon. While talking to media after recieving the car, the former presidential candidate sited the country nolonger has independent organs, that all are puppets for the current president.
He also wondered why a car which still has pending taxes would be returned to him. He said this is a plan to divert them and Ugandans from demanding for the release of political prisoners.
