    Ugandan premier league footballers are yet to face a slump in their monthly salaries after 
    government of the republic of Uganda showing serious intentions of subjecting them NSSF.


    According to the Government of Uganda Football is a business and must in all ways be subjected to taxation with great intentions of getting professional and the  realities faced are taxation.

    The income tax rates and contribution to the National Social Security Fund (NSSF) are to follow a structured criteria as displayed below 

    Income tax rates
    223,000 – 335,000 = 10%
    335,000 – 410,000 = 20%
    410,000 – 10M. = 30%
