Following a steady reduction in positivity rate, Uganda is currently out of the COVID 19 third wave outbreak according to the Health Ministry!
While receiving 1000 oxygen cylinders worth USD 230,000 donated by the World Health Organization in Kampala, the Minister of Health Hon. Jane Ruth Aceng said that today Uganda has only four districts that have registered COVID 19 cases. These districts include Kampala, Mpigi, Kabarole and Wakiso.
According to her, the positivity rate stands at 1%and ten to twenty cases are registered in these districts with positive cases. She asked the community to keep up with respecting the SOP’s - Standard Operating Procedures to pull down the spread of the deadly virus.
