It has been a year now since corona virus also known as COVID -19 was discovered in Wuhan, China.
This virus has spread to over 50 million people and killed over 100,000 people around the world.
In Uganda, we have over 20,000 reported cases and 200 deaths.
Today, the ministry of health announced they will start trials for the vaccine that they have been trying to make for the past months.
Various countries such as Brazil, India and United States of America had started testing their own vaccines.
This trial will start in two weeks and will be tested on those already sick with the virus.
