Ugandan recording artist and multi-instrumentalist, Aliddeki Brian, delivered a spellbinding performance at the renowned Sauti za Busara Festival in Zanzibar, Tanzania. The festival, held from February 9th to 11th, 2024, is celebrated as a vibrant showcase of African music and culture, with Brian representing Uganda's rich musical heritage on the global stage.
Brian took the stage on the opening night of the festival, captivating the audience with his dynamic performance. His energetic presence and mastery of traditional Ugandan instruments left the international crowd enthralled, prompting an encore after his one-hour set. His ability to seamlessly blend traditional rhythms with contemporary sounds earned him widespread acclaim, solidifying his status as one of Africa’s rising stars on the World Music scene.
Emerging as a semi-finalist in the Pearl of Africa Star Search, Brian's unique musical style resonated with judges and audiences alike. His fusion of traditional Ugandan elements with modern influences has garnered attention, leading to performances at prestigious events such as the Nyege Nyege Festival, Afropalooza Festival, and Blankets & Wine Festival, along with international tours to Kenya, Tanzania, Burundi, and the DRC.
Managed by Talent Africa Group, Brian was accompanied to Zanzibar by CEO Aly Allibhai and his live band, ensuring a standout performance that represented Uganda's vibrant cultural identity.
