National Resistance Movement (NRM) spokesperson Rogers Mulindwa has predicted that in two years, Ugandans will have had enough of the National Unity Platform (NUP) leaders.
In an interview with the press, Mulindwa expressed his concern about the heavy NRM loss in the central region to NUP but seemed confident that after two years, voters will be yearning for their return.
"We had a challenge when we lost some of the parliamentary seats to NUP but after two years, the voters will be done with them and will be calling us(NRM) back." Said Mulindwa.
About 85% of the parliamentary and local government positions were won by NUP in the central region which was a very big blow to the ruling party. The loss was interpreted as a sign of tribalism by many and others cancelled the allegations claiming they were voting for change.
