Spice Diana , real name Hajjara Namukwaya is one of the top female artists in the Uganda's music industry.
Diana has worked tirelessly, releasing at least two hit songs every year. However, for the last two years, things have been somewhat tough on her side.
The source management singer has released several songs but these have only received relative reception from her fans and Ugandan music enthusiasts at large.
In fact, Spice Diana last released the song that took the industry by storm in 2022. That was siri regular, a song that many Ugandans loved and it will remain as one of Diana's biggest songs.
Due to lack of new hit songs, entertainment analysts, social media in-laws have been throwing a word or two at Spice Diana.
In her recent interaction with BBS Terefayina presenter as well as local youtuber Allan Cruz, Spice Diana had something to say in regard to the criticism she has been facing over her lack of new hit songs.
In the first instance, the self styled star girl acknowledged that she has seen these comments on platforms like TikTok.
However, she remains unfazed by the negativity because she believes she has reached a point in her career where she cannot be irrelevant in the Ugandan music industry.
She confidently stated that even if she doesn't release new music for the next few years, she will still be a topic of discussion and in demand.
The super talented singer also explained that she chooses to perform in open grounds instead of bars, and she values all forms of commentary, even if it is negative.
"I have told people before that even if I don't sing again for the next four or five years, I will still be talked about, I will be booked and will be around. You will talk about me by force even if I don't ask. Why do you think they talk about me? It is the same reason I don't perform in bars any more…I only do open grounds," she said in the video seen by the reporter.
Despite facing criticism about her demeanor and way of speaking, she attributes it to her background and proudly represents her roots from the ghetto of Nakulabye.
Alongside her music career, Diana has also made a name for herself in charity work and business, establishing a financially successful brand.
