    • April 27, 2021 • 4 years ago

Vipers Sc forward Denis Mwemezi is to leave the club at the end of this season.

According to the inside sources, Mwemezi was barred from being given a passport to travel with the team to play Caf champions league preminary knockout stages.

Mwemezi who joined the Kitende side in 2019 is unhappy at the club due to lack of playing time.

The 2019 Masaza Cup topscorer with Ssese Ssaza joined Vipers Sc in the same year and was expected to score goals for fun after a splendid performance in the Masaza tournament.

Sources around the club say that the club wants to keep him but however the speedy striker wants to force a move out of St.Mary's.

The Fred Kajoba's side striker made his debut on 1st August in 2019 against Proline Fc in Pilsner Super 8 tournament in the quarter finals and scored in the 24th minute a goal that helped Vipers Sc to reach Semifinals.

It is alleged that the 19yr old is interested in different Uganda Premier League clubs like Sc Villa, Updf Fc, Bul Fc and others.

Vipers Sc, has clinical forwards like Dan Muzeeyi Sserunkuma, Paul Mucurezi, Cezar Manzoki, Yunus Ssentamu, Muhhamed Shaban and many others and the youngster could find it hard to rise through the ranks for playing time ahead of the experienced strikers at the club.
