The African music industry was on Sunday morning hit by he death of Southafrican rapper Costa Titch who passed on while performing on stage.
According to reports, he collapsed on stage during his performance at the Ultra South Africa festival, at Expo Centre in Nasrec, Johannesburg and died thereafter minutes past midnight.
Costa Titch - Real names Costa Tsobanoglou, reportedly had a history of epilepsy, a condition that affects the brain and causes seizures - which reportedly killed him!
Costa was undoubtedly the biggest Southafrican artist from in East Africa today. He was loved and having erformed in Kenya, Uganda, Burundi, Tanzania and South Sudan!
Although he was an artist, Titch outshines himself more as a Performer and Dancer!
In Uganda he's most remembered for the massive show he put up together with Adekunle Gold on Saturday 16th July 2022 at Lugogo Cricket Oval during the return of the famous Club Beer Club Dome. He would later return at the New years eve to serve Ugandans with a New Year Celebration party at the Garden City Rooftop.
At that Club Dome show, Costa wowed with his choreography, stage presence, and crowd engagement among many other aspects that got many crowning him the man of the shos even when he organisers seemingly aimed at having him as a curtain raiser for Adekunle.
Costa popularized the SouthAfrican music genre of Amapiano and to many, he was with no doubt the face of the famous music style. He died aged 27. May his soul rest in Peace!
His passing comes a month barely after his close friend and fellow Southafrican Rapper A.K.A died following a gun down that claimed his life.
