    President of Uganda Yoweri Kaguta Museveni through a televised address to country has given  updates on the Covid-19 situation in the country Uganda and has therefore offered more guidelines on what should be done to combat the spread.

    After the Ministry Of Health (MOH) has handed over a report to Museveni on what they think should be done to combat the spread of the deeading pandemic.

    The president has been compelled to order for minor lockdown by banning the movement of private cars which  as clear as day is aimed to limit movement among the population. This came  after the private car owners had decided to turn them into taxis.

    CURFEW
    The president has also ordered for a curfew that no one will be allowed to move at night as another way to help fight criminality but with exception for lorries and cargo vehicals that  allowed to move.

    Non food stores  like hardwares, saloons, lodges and  guarages, etc  have been suspended for 14 days.

    The Established food markets, drugs shops  like pharmaceuticals, shops with agricultural stuffs with condition of restriction of  huge numbers will continue to operating.

    Supermarkets will also  continue operating but with serious precaution about the measures and guidelines about spread of corona virus.

    Factories
    Production factories are expected to remain operating only if they can arrange crucial employee camps around the fortory for 14days and if they can't they will be suspended for 14 days. The employee camps will act bas lodging facilities for employes to limit their daily movement.

    Museveni’s new guidelines still remain unclear if they allow all media outlets (both print and electronic) to continue operating.

    Health facilities, telecommunication service providers, door to door delivery services, financial institutions, property management services, private security companies, cleaning services, firefighting, fuel station and garbage collecting companies, URA, UNRA, Umeme, Water and Sewage cooperation will continue working however other government organisations are ordered to close.

    Government has prohibited the Gathering of morethan 5 people in addition giving of food to people by politicians seeking for cheap popularity has been banned and if  caught doing so, one will be charged with attempted murder.

    In addition the president promised to reach
    Banks, Water and sewage co operation and Umeme for a talk inorder to reduce the pressure exacted to their customers in the clearence of bills.
