The Covid-19 relief money promised to Ugandans seems to be far from coming, with each day that passes by coming with more uncertainties concerning the money. The prime minister Hon Robbinah Nabbanja had promised Ugandans that they'll start receiving money on 8th/7/2021 which is tomorrow.
However, a few hours ago, while addressing the Covid-19 task force, state minister for Labor and gender, Hon. Charles Engola informed the committee that they'll need one more week to do data verification and pin the qualifying vulnerable Ugandans.
The minister also seemed sceptical about the proposed sending of money come tomorrow as earlier informed by the prime minister. He said not all the registered Ugandans do qualify for the relief fund.
We once again ask you this question, are you among the vulnerable poor Ugandans waiting for Hon. Nabbanja?
