    Singer Ykee Benda who is well known for his hit songs like Superman and Farmer earlier this month shocked everyone after breaking up with long time lover , Julie Batenga.

    The information about his break up reached media houses in rumours and many people who knew the couple personally couldn't believe it.One morning to be specific January 8th he confirmed that the rumours were true.

    The circumstances that led to their break up are not clear but seem to be beyond what Benda and Julie could control. The singer posted this  ;

    “These are gona be some dark days maybe months I don ’ t know … for both of us . . But i Knw there will be light at some point … I will forever celebrate you and wish you nothing but bliss N Happiness … I can barely write another statement , my heart is pumping too fast. . Goodbye and God bless you Julie Batenga ” .

    The post clearly showed there was still some love between the two.

    Many people however till todate do not believe the two parted ways especially with the way Ykee has been replying all people who ask him the breakup question during local interviews. He says "Yeah we broke up" in a very speedy way just like the way comedian Alex Muhangi Cracks his jokes and he also seems so happy like nothing happened in his life.
