While Ugandans are still uncertain on when life will completely go back to normal, ICT state minister has come to make the hopes more blurry as some people have said. In an address to the media, state minister Peter Ogwang was not clear on when the lockdown will be removed.
"Easing lockdown will depend on people's response to the vaccination. The government is watching and treating the new strains of the virus a threat and urged Ugandans to follow the president's directive on Covid-19."
It should however be noted that in his last address, president Museveni hinted that bars and entertainment industry would be opened after vaccination of 5.5 million Ugandans. Good afternoon.
