The latest celebrity news spilling through the entertainment corners indicates that media personality Zahara Nalumansi, famously known as Zahara Totto has officially resigned from Sanyuka Tv, a subsidiary of Next media services.
The news about Zahara Totto’s resignation comes just after her recent misconduct at the Naguru-based media outlet, which saw her suspended for a given period.
Reports from credible sources indicate that Zahara has secured a new TV role at Makula Kika, where she will commence her duties going forward.
Zahara Totto sometimes referred to as DJ Zato will be hosting a new show dubbed Vybe Ku Vybe, which will air from Monday to Thursday at 8 PM.
While addressing the press, Zahara Totto revealed that she has hosted gossip shows over the years, but she has nearly achieved nothing hence her decision to make some changes.
"I decided since the year began that I was not going to work for Next Media again and they all knew that soon I would be leaving them,” she said in the video seen by the reporter.
The celebrity gossip queen further mentioned that:
“From (January) I got in touch with Makula and we have been working on this project which we are unveiling to you this time.”
Zahara says she officially communicated her decision to the Human Resource Manager at Next Media as well as the head of Sanyuka TV, letting them know that her time at the station had run out.
The light skinned Tv personality however poured cold water on media reports that she was fired from the station, which she said were being peddled by uninformed bloggers.
Recall that reports emerged in March this year that Zahara was thrown out of Next Media on grounds of misbehaviour, turning up on the daily UnCut show while drunk, and having an outburst with one of her show producers.
It was also alleged that she had been warned several times to step up or else face the axe.
According to Totto, she will continue to push her deejaying brand because it pays her more.
Dj Zato came into the limelight after featuring in the popular television show called Live Wire which airs on Spark television, a sister station of Nation Media group’s NTV Uganda.
She then joined her former co-host Anatalia Ozzie and they started hosting the gossip show called Live wire on Spark television which became very popular among entertainment new lovers in Uganda.
In October 2018, Zahara Toto and Anatalia Ozzie quit spark tv and started hosting Sanyuka TV's UnCut, a show that also focuses on rumors about the Ugandan Entertainment Industry.
