    Fik Fameica aka Fresh bwoy, whose real name is Shafik Walukagga, is a Ugandan rapper, singer and songwriter. He was born on January 10th 1996 in Kawempe division Kampala, Uganda. His music is a fusion of different genres including hip-hop, dancehall, luga flow and Afrobeat, which has made him gain a large following among the youths of Uganda.

    He started his music career in 2015 while still in high school. High school helped him discover his talent because he used to perform at school events and talent shows. He gained recognition after releasing his debut single "Pistol" in 2015 under the Black Man Town Music Label produced by Artin Pro. This song became an instant hit in the streets of Kampala and Uganda in general.

    After the success of his debut single "Pistol" in 2015, Fik Fameica released his first EP, "Kutama," in 2017. The EP included five tracks and featured collaborations with various Ugandan artists including Wembly Mo and Byaxy. The EP had songs like "Byenyenya", "Mafia", "Gwe Abisobola", "Kutama", "kachima". It received positive reviews and helped solidify his status as a rising star in the Ugandan music industry. He also went on to release other popular songs like "Tonsukuma” and “sitani Tonkema ft sheebah karungi”

    Between 2018 and 2021, he went on to release a number of songs including “siconto”,”my property”, ”am different” ,”tell me”, ”muko”, ”mwaga ft rayvanny”, ”tubikole ft vinka”, ”buligita”, ”omu bwati ft patoranking”, ”tevunya”, “lock”, ”LovLov” ,”binji ft Lydia jasmine”, ”gasiwa ft wembly mo” and many other songs.

    In 2022 he signed for emPawa Africa, a music label based in Nigeria and later that year he went on and released his debut album “king kong” which included songs like “deep”,”LIFIST”,”one love”,”mpakasa”, ”carol”, ”sitoma”, ”magic” and many others

    Fik fameica has also won various awards due to his good music including the Hipipo Music Awards, the Buzz Teeniez Awards and the Zzina Awards.

    Apart from music, Fik Fameica has also ventured into acting, making his debut in the Ugandan film industry in 2020 with a lead role in the movie "Kony-Order from Above." He has also been featured in several TV commercials including those for Pepsi, MTN and Africell.

    Fik Fameica is also a philanthropist who has brought a significant impact to the youths through engaging in youth education programs and advocating for youth empowerment. He has donated money and resources to schools in his community and has also organized concerts and events aimed at empowering young people.
