Faded musician turned politician Ragga Dee is one of the veteran musicians that have been around for quite a long while now. However, it seems like his music career was washed down the drain. Many critics argue that his musical death started because he joined the ruling party NRM for politics while other argue that his career was long gone before he even joined politics.
Well, Ragga Dee has come out to share a few tips with fast rising musician Alien Skin in a bid to warm him against making wrong decisions which could end his already blossomed music career. Ragga Dee went ahead warn Alien Skin to be careful in the music industry, where rivalries and conflicts are very common.
Ragga Dee, who has been in the industry for over 20 years, emphasized the importance of maintaining a positive image and reputation. He also warned Alien Skin about the dangers of the digital age, where a single mistake online can lead to a downward curve in his career.
"I want to warn Alien Skin to tread carefully. He possesses remarkable talent and is fortunate, but he must remain aware of the negativity within the industry. In this age of internet influence, a single misstep can trigger a downfall in his career." Said Ragga Dee.
Ragga Dee also mentioned that there is a lot of disunity within the music industry and it stems from the so called uniting umbrella, the Uganda National Musicians Federation. He cited a recent incident involving Alien Skin and Spice Diana, who engaged in a heated debate on Galaxy FM about the federation. Ragga Dee stated that despite their common interests, the musicians appeared divided, which is not a good sign.
"I have witnessed beloved musicians losing their prominence, fading musically. I just I hope Alien Skin will listen to my warning and avoid making the same mistakes." Ragga Dee said
