Singer Aroma, legally identified as Aroma Kyavaerimukama has no kind words for  fellow singer Chosen Becky for not doing enough to promote their collaboration song.

In October 2023, Aroma and Chosen Becky released  a song together dubbed "New comer" but the ballad didn't gather the expected recognition from Ugandan music enthusiasts for unknown reasons.

For instance, 7 months after its release, the song has only managed to attract about 220k views on YouTube.

UtrWhile taking part in an interview with Spark Tv on Wednesday, May 29, Aroma revealed that she financed the entire song-making process, including the audio and video production.

However, after the song was released, Chosen Becky displayed reluctance in promoting the project and even went against their agreement by uploading it on her YouTube channel.

The Team No Sleep singer says that she tried to address the issue with Chosen Becky but  she refused to answer her calls and subsequently blocked her on all platforms.

Aroma even took the initiative to relay the message to Chosen Becky’s manager and baby daddy, Dictator Amir, which only worsened the situation as the “Bankuza” singer believed that Aroma was pursuing her man.

Since then, Aroma and Chosen Becky have had a strained relationship and continue to have disagreements.

Aroma Kyavaerimukama is a born again Christian and musician who does zouk, RnB, dancehall and Afrobeat.

She is one of the most promising female musicians right now, and she is becoming  known across the country.

Among her songs are Butida, Wakimala, yoola, Mele yoo, Tonenya, and Akayimba.
In 2021, Aroma revealed that she gave up being a pastor for music . She was responding to the question regarding the biggest regret in her life.

" I grew up as a Born Again, we were a prayerful family and they used to call me Little Pastor but I gave that up for secular music," she said.

She also opended up about what she does not like about her job.

"The music industry is evil. People can attack you for no reason. This is perhaps because it is so competitive. I have had issues where some people have told me that someone paid them not to play my music.

She also mentioned what she loves about her job.

"I am happy that it brings out the best in me and I get to entertain people. Seeing different faces every day and loving what I do gives me joy."
