Chief of Defence Forces and first son Muhoozi Kaineruga left the whole nation in shock after his string of posts where he kept openly challenging and sending death threats to opposition leaders in Uganda.
It started with promising to behead NUP opposition leader Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu a.k.a Bobi Wine and it got more concerning after he promised to hang Forum for Democratic Change leader Dr. Kizza Besigye who is currently behind bars.
General Muhoozi was therefore summoned by the Parliamentary committee to get answers to the posts he was hurling every single day to which he impolitely declined. The General was quick to note that he is not appearing before any members of parliament because he is answerable to no one.
According to General Muhoozi, the Members of Parliament who summoned him are nothing but clowns and he will never stand before them but instead, he would arrest each and every one of these Clowns. This has not sat well with many political Figure heads.
In response to these remarks, several members of parliament called upon the Chief of Defence Forces General Muhoozi Kainerugaba to have some respect for the members of parliament and refrain from calling them funny names.
Honorable Jonathan Ebwalu is one of the people that have come out to openly criticize the General, Muhoozi Kainerugaba for referring to respectable members of parliament as Clowns. He has stated that this was uncalled for and rather demeaning.
In response to Muhoozi Kainerugaba, Honorable Jonathan Ebwalu has come out and urged that the members of parliament should take action against the general by enforcing his arrest in order to show him that they are far from being clowns.
"Our Parliament should stop posturing on cameras in the rooms. Muhoozi called us clowns. The only way we can prove to Ugandans and Muhoozi that we are not clowns is to enforce Rule 208 by enforcing the arrest of Gen. Muhoozi and producing him." Honourable Jonathan Ebwalu stated via his X account.
With the ongoing surge of fear regarding General Muhoozi's recent posts, very many Ugandans are eager to listen to his side of the story, with many wondering whether he is really responsible for posting those death threats or if it really was a hacking incident.
The more the Chief of Defence runs from the summoning, Members of Parliament are left very bitter, considering how insulted they feel regarding the posts he allegedly made while attacking them. As we all dwell in uncertainty of what shall come next, we await more updates regarding this matter.
