It is turning habitual for top name celebrities in Kampala to hire services and not pay off what they are being demanded. All the way from hair trims, clothes renting to photography, famous celebrities go around getting these services only to tell the ones offering them the services that they are given their brand a platform in the market.
Renowned celebrity photographer Hanz Shot has come out and expressed his disappointment with influencer and media personality Sheilah Gashumba for not paying for his services despite hiring him to work for her via his most expensive packages.
While taking part in an interview with Galaxy TV, Han Shot expressed his disappointment with celebrities like Sheilah Gashumba who fail to pay for photographers’ services, all in the name of giving them platform for their brands to be noticed in this market full of competition.
According to Hanz, a while back, Sheilah Gashumba reached out to him in need of his photography services. After a while of collaboration, Sheilah Gashumba started playing hide and seek when it came to paying for the photos, which he had taken as per her orders.
When her debts accrued, she opted for other photographers in town and continued to use the same strategies of not paying for the work.
Hanz also made it clear that he is not willing to work with Sheilah Gashumba even when she clears her debts because she might continue bothering him with the same stunts. He urged young photographers to refuse unpaid work, emphasizing that without cash, there should not be anything to discuss.
