Local singer Victor Wajja, professionally addressed as Victor Ruz has been left cursing his gods after yet to be identified thieves took off with his Sumsung S22 Ultra.
Based on the video clip accessed by the reporter, Victor Ruz's phone, deep purple in colour was snatched on Saturday night, April 6 in Kampala city.
The singer has implored whoever comes across it to buy it and secure it.
He promises to reward the buyer with double the amount they shall have used to buy the stolen gadget.
The love legend hit maker is currently in total belief that his phone could already be on black market and he needs his gadget so bad as it has confidential information, work contracts, unreleased music, and lyrics in it.
"The phone has my photo as a wallpaper, in case anybody tries to sell it to you, arrest them. Alternatively, you can buy it from them and I will double whatever amount you shall have spent on purchasing it," inconsolable victor Ruz said in a video he shared on his socials.
Meanwhile, Singer Victor Ruz is not the first Ugandan celebrity to fall victim to a late-night phone theft. The others include but not limited to the following below;
Zari Hassan
On Thursday night 22 December 2022, renowned socialite and businesswoman Zari Hassan was also left in sad mood after thieves made off with her phone at her All white party.
In a video that was shared online Zari reported to the public that her phone has been stolen. The phone was a golden Samsung S Ultra 20.
The self proclaimed boss lady further described the phone, noting that it has a wallpaper of her.
Zari added that she understands how much people struggle to stay afloat in this economy, noting that she too, could potentially fall folly.
The mother of five also noted that it is okay for someone to steal her phone because they are struggling to survive.
Zari went forth and encouraged whoever might have stolen it to send her current boyfriend, Shakib, a direct message on social media.
She however noted that the only reason she wants the phone back are her children’s pictures.
She was not short of braggadocio, noting that she didn’t care about the gadget itself since she has enough cash to buy herself ten other phones.
Singers Sheebah Karungi, Cindy Sanyu, Juanita Kawalya can't be left unmentioned.
