Ahead of the opening of the new academic year 2023 - Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) will be releasing the primary leavers results this Friday.
According to information from the Examinations board, the official release of these results will take place at State House Nakasero starting at 11am - officiated by the First Lady and Minister of Education and Sports, Mrs Museveni Janet.
A total or 832,839 candidates sat for P.L.E last year and their scripts were marked at 13 centres by 5,544 Examiners.
While appearing before the Parliamentary Education Committee previously, UNEB's Executive Director Mr. Daniel Odong said that marking of both PLE and UCE exams ended before Christmas and their release would follow consecutively. He added that marking of UACE scripts is also underway.
After the PLE release, the selection exercise will commence as schools select candidates for their respective schools depending on the respective cut-off points.
