Singer A Pass expressed his frustration with comedian MC Mariach for body-shaming TikTok sensation Rango Tenge Tenge.
A Pass took to TikTok live broadcast to vent his frustration and criticize Mc Mariach for his actions.
During the Valentine’s Day event at the Comedy Store, Rango Tenge Tenge performed alongside renowned figures such as Mc Mariach and Rwandan musician Da Ben.
However, amid the performances, Mc Mariach began making jokes that were considered disrespectful towards Rango Tenge Tenge, which did not sit well with many, including A Pass.
A Pass emphasized that Tenge Tenge is highly acclaimed in other countries, making it unfortunate that his own countrymen are resorting to demoralizing him.
"How can you go ahead and body shame him like that. Other countries are appreciating our people, all we do is putting them down..... It's too bad that instead of uplifting him, you chose to bring him down... so shameful of you." he said during a live tiktok video.
The singer strongly advocated for Comedy Store bosses to revise their guidelines in order to ensure the platform’s suitability for all attendees.
He also argued that Mc Mariachi would have instead empowered Tenge Tenge instead of body shaming him.
