The Federation of Uganda Football Association (FUFA) along with respective football governing bodies in Kenya and Tanzania have earlier today been handed the best news as CAF finally aproved their PAMOJA AFCON 2027 bid.
The PAMOJA bid is a dream come true for the East African countries, given the stiff competition it was facing from other well established countries like Algeria, who suddenly pulled out on the last day, leaving Egypt and Botswana. The later had intially merged with Namibia who also fell off leaving Botswana as the only South African region representative.
The announcement of the bid left many FUFA officials extremely happy and full of joy, most notable one being the federation's president Eng. Moses Magogo, who celebrated the news with Deputy Speaker of Parliement Hon. This then leaves the three countries with a very big task of preparing and making sure by 2027, everything is in place for the most prestigious footballing tournament on the continent and as Nowviba, we will be here to update you with all the progress.
