An armed assailant has Friday afternoon allegedly shot and killed a money lender - of Indian Nationality - at the latter's office at Raja chambers along Parliamentary Avenue in Kampala.
Following the incident, Police cordoned off the entire area.
The assailant, Police Constable (PC) Ivan Wabwire was servicing two loans he acquired since 2020 - according to Kampala Metropolitan Police spokesperson, Patrick Onyango.
Wabwire disappeared into thin air after the shooting. Security detectives are currently on ground to establish the motive of the tragic incident.
The victim of the shooting, identified as Uttam Bandari was operating TSP Financial Services located at the basement of Raja Chambers.
Uttams shooting comes just a week away since 2 other shootings - one of Labour Minister Charles Engola and Controversial Blogger Isma Olaxxes.
