As guns violence rocks the country, another guard attached to a private security firm has been arrested on murder charges after he allegedly shot and killed a collegue in Tororo District on Wednesday.
The 27 year old security guard only identified as John Okudi - attached to Saracen Ltd was allegedly shot by his collegue Moses Okedi.
His shooting followed a disagreement in senior quarters in Amagoro Central ward in Tororo Municipality where the pair had jointly been deployed to guard a home of an Indian businessman on Tuesday evening.
Uganda Police managed to arrest the suspect. Okudi's death comes barely a week after another guard attached to capital Guards and Patro security firm allegedly shot a collegue dead in their rented house in Kalule Zone, Lukuli Parish Makindye Division last Saturday.
The 2 incidents also come at a time when gun shootings, claimed lives of a Minister, Charles Engola and social media Vlogger Isma Olaxxes
