One of the most popular upcoming artistes "Fik Fameica" whose shine was brought about by his famous hit songs Byenyenya and Kutama has finally come out on the issue of those accusing him of duplicating his songs.
The young singer is accused by a certain section of Ugandans for using beats copied from other songs to make his own. Songs for example Mbega wa Baala, Pistol have clearly copied beats from international hit songs and of recent someone also unleashed a certain song called Thitama that sounds similar to Kutama.
When contacted , Fameica admitted that yes he did copy most of his music especially the beats but he defenders himself saying that everyone out there copies and that no one is clean. He added that it's okay to copy but the problem is how you copy , then he asked a rhetorical question "Did what you copy impress the public?" If it did then he advised that people should enjoy the music instead of criticising it because there are many other musicians out there who have a lot of original sound but have never produced a hit song.
