Artists where are you in the struggle? - Apass

While different stakeholders come out to talk about the injustices in the country of late, others have decided to completely go MUTE. This however won't be for long since they've started calling them out and among them is artist Alexander Bagonza commonly known as Apass.

During the protests, many lives have been lost while many other people have been injured by the police and the Didada hit maker is one of the several entertainers that have pledged their allegiance with Bobi Wine. He often notes that the NUP leader stands for what he believes in.

A Pass however had no kind words for anyone who applauded Police’s use of excessive force in arresting Bobi Wine and dispersing the protesting crowds on Wednesday.

He had no kind words as he attacked the regime for “killing Ugandans” and urged fellow citizens to rise up against the oppression.

“Am here to congratulate the regime for killing Ugandans, thank you so much Ugandan Government, we appreciate.” A Pass sarcastically noted.

He went on to attack fellow Artists whom he says have paid a deaf ear on the issues taking place in the country right now.

“I am ashamed of these Ugandan artists who post hashtags and say nothing about the situation, am sorry but that’s wasted energy you Cowards, claiming to love your fans and Uganda you just love to make money but you don’t care at all. Where is that energy you have on stage, where is that energy you have on International issues???? When things happen in Uganda you are slow and most of you say nothing, you cowards mbu I pray for Uganda." Said a rather angry Apass.

Am so pissed, I wish I had something positive to say but I don’t. #StopPoliceBrutality #FreeBobiwine”

His rants managed to yield some results though when a group of artists started posting about the situation. Among these were Ziza Bafana, Spice Diana, Fic Fameika and others.
