    The anticipation is palpable as the legendary Congolese music icon, Awilo Longomba, touched down in Uganda on Tuesday afternoon, ahead of the highly awaited Legends of Sound concert. 

    The music sensation was warmly welcomed by the media upon his arrival at the airport. Accompanying him were the esteemed Talent Africa Group CEO, Aly Allibhai and the renowned Afrigo Band Lead Manager, Mr. James Wasula.

    The much-anticipated concert, scheduled for August 5th, 2023, at the picturesque Kampala Sheraton Hotel Gardens, aims to celebrate the remarkable 48-year journey of the Africa Band in the music industry. 

    Both the legendary acts of Afrigo Band and Awilo Longomba are geared up to deliver a musical experience like never before, leaving Ugandans spellbound by electrifying rhythms, infectious beats, and soul-stirring melodies.

    The Legends of Sound concert promises an eclectic mix of Afro beats, Rumba, Jazz, Lingala, and other classics, offering music lovers an unforgettable night of pure musical excellence.
