Just yesterday, musician and former presidential candidate Bobi Wine has done something that Bebe Cool did over 10 years ago.
Over 10 years ago, Bebe Cool discovered an online video platform called YouTube and started making great use of it, he uploaded his music videos one by one as he released them plus the old ones he had already released.
Now just yesterday, omukulu Bobi Wine just remembered to do this, yet the two musicians have been singing since 1999.
Bobi fully updated his YouTube channel by adding all his legendary songs that were not on it, examples like Abalungi Balumya, Mbada, Nze Akwagala, Ayagala Mulaasi, Bad Man From Kamwokya and Carolina among others
What took Bobi Wine so long
Well it's not that Bobi Wine did not know that YouTube existed but rather, he did not use it to the maximum. Especially when he got lost in politics since 2017 when he became a member of Parliament for Kyadondo East constituency.
Bobi actually forgot he was a musician and was only releasing political music until this very date except for one song that we all remember, and that is "Kyarenga".
It is the only non political song Bobi has released in the past 4 years after he had joined politics.
We hear Bobi Wine is going to make a musical comeback this year
Rumours that have been around since May of this year indicate that the ghetto gladiator is going to be releasing a fully-packed music album this year titled 'Freedom' and that the first song belonging to it was 'Akatengo' which was released about 2 months ago.
However, if the album is really called Freedom, then get ready for another round of political music and not the Bobi Wine we know.
