Once very vibrant city tycoon Emmanuel Lwasa has gone down to his knees and pleaded to socialite Bryan white to help him with financial assistance to clear his debts.
Recently, Lwasa who got famous because of his money and dating several Ugandan celebrities found himself in a dire financial situation.
On several occasions, the once flashy man declared himself bankrupt . He placed the blame on his people who made him lose all his sources of income.
Now as one of the ways that he thinks will bring him a sigh of relief, Emmanuel Lwasa has taken the bold step of reaching out to Brian White, a well-known socialite and philanthropist, in the hopes of receiving much-needed financial assistance.
Having witnessed Brian White’s acknowledgment of his own struggles and his expressed intention to meet Lwasa, the latter saw an opportunity to potentially regain his financial stability.
In a video making rounds on the internet Lwasa Emmanuel could be heard expressing his deep admiration for Bryan White's philanthropic endeavors and his desire to follow in his footsteps.
Aware of the numerous individuals who have sought Brian White’s assistance, Lwasa made it clear that he was open to any means of support that the socialite deemed appropriate.
Whether it be a direct financial contribution, business partnership, or mentorship, Lwasa expressed his willingness to explore all avenues that could lead to his financial recovery.
Emmanuel Lwasa's plea to Bryan white come a few days after asking President Museveni for some help on the same issue.
Earlier this month, Lwasa took part in an interview with Sanyuka Tv and he appealed to President Museveni for help to clear everything. He said that the President in fact offered a helping hand to him when he had visited Masaka.
However, the person who was put in charge of helping Lwasa was changed in the cabinet reshuffle. Since then, he doesn’t pick up when the tycoon calls him. He’s now appealed to the President to follow up on the issue and help him from collapse.
“I’m appealing to President Museveni to follow up on my issue. He gave me the money to clear my loans. However, the person who was put in charge of my issue was changed. And since then, he hasn’t picked up my phone calls. I’m now stressed and suffering from high blood pressure,” he said
It should be recalled that Lwasa lived a rather large lifestyle in his heyday. He drove some of the most luxurious cars.
